Desert Safari Dubai: Morning, Sunset or Overnight?

Dune bashing, camel rides, BBQ dinners and starlit camps — how to choose the right desert safari, with real prices from our catalogue.

Desert Safari Dubai: Morning, Sunset or Overnight?

The classic: evening desert safari

The evening safari is the most booked experience on our site, and for good reason: you leave the city in the afternoon, ride the dunes in a 4x4 as the heat drops, then settle into a camp for a BBQ buffet dinner, sandboarding and shows — belly dance and fire — before the drive back.

It lasts about 6.5 hours, costs AED 230 per person and includes hotel pickup and drop-off.

Morning and sunrise options

If you prefer cooler air and empty dunes, the morning safari runs early with the same dune bashing, sandboarding and camel ride in about 4 hours (AED 225). The sunrise safari is private: your own 4x4, up to 6 guests, and golden-hour photography for AED 320.

Add thrills to your desert day

These can be booked on their own or combined with a safari for a full desert day:

  • Quad bike (350cc) — AED 280 per person, 60 minutes, ages 10+
  • Dune buggy Polaris RZR — AED 850 per buggy, 60 minutes, 2 seats
  • Camel trekking with Arabic coffee & dates — AED 180 per person

Spending a night in the desert

The overnight safari swaps the evening drive home for a Bedouin camp: dinner and breakfast, a bonfire, stargazing far from city lights and a slow desert sunrise. It runs about 18 hours at AED 650 per person.

What's included & how to book

Every safari includes hotel pickup and drop-off — free anywhere in Dubai — so you only need comfortable clothes and a camera. Choose a date and time slot on the booking page and our team confirms by email or WhatsApp.
